ARSENAL striker Olivier Giroud is ready to leave if Arsene Wenger signs another striker this summer, with Marseille monitoring the situation, according to reports.
With the World Cup year away, Giroud, like a host of players, will want to nail down regular first-team football next season to make sure he makes it to Russia.
Wenger will need to revamp his attacking line up next season, knowing top scorer Alexis Sanchez could be on his way out of the Emirates this summer.
Marseille, have been spending big, with the recent signings of Dimitri Payet and Patrice Evra, the club want Giroud to spearhead a serious title challenge next year.
Giroud is not angling for a return to Ligue 1, but Marseille, now bankrolled by wealthy American Frank McCourt, are prepared to offer big money to temp him home.
The report the French giants are prepared to shell out up to £20million for the 30-year-old who has hit 18 goals for the Gunners this season.
