DAVID MOYES has resigned as Sunderland manager after relegation and a miserable ten months on Wearside.
The former Everton and Manchester United boss endured a rotten season as his side finished bottom without much of a fight.
And he quit from the Stadium of Light without even seeing a pay-off as the Scot goes on the market once again.
He will not have done his once promising stock much help though, after a season where Sunderland won just six games and lost 26, along with six draws, only yielding 24 points.
