SAM ALLARDYCE has told Crystal Palace he is leaving the club.
The ex-Sunderland boss held showdown talks with the Palace hierachy on Tuesday over his future at Selhurst Park
The 62-year-old wanted assurances from chairman Steve Parish over summer transfer plans before committing his future to the club.
But Allardyce believes promises have been broken and has opted to walk out just days after he kept Palace in the Premier League.
Reports also claim that Allardyce has already cleared his desk at the club's training ground and has no plans to U-turn on his decision to quit.
Big Sam was appointed Palace boss in December following the sacking of Alan Pardew with the tough task of keeping the Eagles in the top flight.
