PSG rival Manchester United for Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak with mega £52million bid
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have made a £52million approach for Jan Oblak.
The Atletico Madrid keeper is in high demand this summer with Manchester United and Chelsea known admirers.
Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte are both poised to move for the Slovenian should either David de Gea or Thibaut Courtois join Real Madrid when the transfer window opens.
But, according to France Football, PSG have stolen a march on the Premier League pair.
The French giants’ Qatari owners have grown tired of current options Kevin Trapp and Alphonse Areola after missing out on the title to Monaco.
German Trapp, 26, has played 31 times in all competitions this season – and kept 18 clean sheets.
But that form has not been deemed good enough as PSG prepare for an overhaul after Saturday’s Coupe de France final against Angers.
And club chiefs appear to be ready to match Atletico’s lofty asking price for Oblak.
The 24-year-old’s agent recently admitted he could leave the La Liga giants this summer.

Speaking to Le10sports, he said: “The future of Oblak? What’s certain is that various clubs want to sign the best goalkeeper in the world. Two in particular are very interested.”
Oblak joined Atleti for £12.6m from Benfica in 2014 and has made 113 appearances in the last three seasons with Diego Simeone’s side.
