INCOMING Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde wants Manchester United's Ander Herrera to be his first signing, according to reports.
Herrera was one of the stars for United as they won the Europa League final in Stockholm last night.
And now he could be set for a move to the Nou Camp when the current Athletic Bilbao boss takes charge, report Sport.
They say the 53-year-old has already discussed transfer targets with Barcelona's hierarchy and told them he wants Herrera.
The pair have previous together, with the Spaniard playing under Valverde for one season at Bilbao before joining United in 2014.
Herrera's contract enters its final year in the summer - but he is yet to sign a new deal despite reports linking him to a bumper £120,000-a-week agreement.
