Willian rules out Manchester United move and insists he is staying with Chelsea

United have been tracking Willian in the hope of a summer deal but Brazilian says his future remains at Stamford Bridge

WILLIAN has told Chelsea he will not be asking to leave the club this summer - despite the interest of Manchester United.

The Brazilian struggled to be an automatic choice in the Blues side last season after injury hampered him in the opening months of the campaign.

And United boss Jose Mourinho - the man who signed Willian for Chelsea - has been planning to make a bid to take him to Old Trafford this summer.

He felt the offer of more regular starts in the north-west would prove tempting for the wide man who was named in the first eleven just 15 times in the Premier League last season.

But Willian has given Chelsea an early boost by insisting he has no plans to be on the move and that he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking to the , Willian said: "Yes. I have a contract with Chelsea until 2020 and I am very happy here.

"I have a great relationship with all the people that work at Chelsea and the fans too. They have been great to me since I joined.

"Chelsea are back in the Champions League next season and I am looking forward to playing in it again.

"It is a big, big target for us and we have to look to win that trophy next year."

The 28-year-old is now targeting the Double as Chelsea look to add the FA Cup to their Premier League win when they take on Arsenal on Saturday.

He added: "We want to end the season with the Double. We have the Premier League but we want the FA Cup too.

"This is a big game for us. It will be difficult against Arsenal and we have to be ready.

"We have to be focused and play in the same way we have all season.";
