Crystal Palace will be due £2m in compensation if Sam Allardyce takes another job within next two years
Allardyce quit Palace in shock move this week after deciding to retire to spend more time with his family
SAM ALLARDYCE will have to pay Crystal Palace £2million if he returns to management in the next two years.
Allardyce walked out on Palace after just six months in charge this week after making the shock decision to retire.
The former England boss says has no desire to manage any other side and insisted he just wanted to spend time relaxing with his family.

Palace agreed to Allardyce's request to leave, and honoured the £2m bonus payment he was due in his contract for saving the club from relegation last season.
But there is also a penalty clause in the severance agreement which states that money will have to be repaid if Allardyce does make a comeback to management before June 2019.
Palace have now turned their attention to trying to find a new manager just at a time when they were hoping for stability after the narrow escape from relegation.
High on the list of potential candidates is Marco Silva, who this morning told Hull he is quitting following their drop out of the Premier League.
Silva's reputation has grown after the impressive job he did to even give the Tigers a chance of avoiding the job.
But it is understood he failed to impress in an interview to become the new manager of Porto, so the Portuguese coach is now firmly in Palace's sights.
But the club also have other options they are considering and have said they will not rush into a quick appointment as they bid to ensure they get the right man for the job.
Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic is another they are considering having been impressed with the job he has done with a young squad at Craven Cottage.
Burnley's Sean Dyche and Wales boss Chris Coleman are two others who have been spoken about at Selhurst Park, although both will be hard to prise away from their current jobs.
