Lyon make £10.5m bid for Javier Hernandez as they look to replace Alexandre Lacazette this summer
The French Ligue 1 club are set to replace Alexandre Lacazette with the Bayern Leverkusen striker
LYON have made a £10.5m bid for Javier Hernandez as they search for Alexandre Lacazette's replacement.
Striker Hernandez, also known as Chicharito, scored 11 goals in 26 Bundesliga matches this season for Bayer Leverkusen.
According to , Bayer Leverkusen have agreed for Chicharito to leave the club as his contract is up at the end of next season.
Discussions are said to be underway with the players management and agent, as Hernandez is said to be interested in joining Lyon.
The former Manchester United player has also become Mexico's leading scorer during a 2-1 defeat by Croatia.

Hernandez scored his 47th goal with four minutes left in Saturday's friendly in Los Angeles.
Chicharito was the fastest Mexico player to hit the 40-goal mark for his team and equalled Borgetti's record in March.
Meanwhile the Special One has admitted that Javier Hernandez who was managed under Louis van Gaal before Jose was appointed, should never have left the club.
Mexico international Hernandez was sold to Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen 2015 for £7.3 million having previously spent a season on loan at Real Madrid.
