Andres Iniesta reveals he could quit Barcelona when his contract runs out next season
Spanish midfield maestro intends to 'evaluate a lot of things' before making a decision on his future
ANDRES INIESTA says he may not extend his stay at Barcelona with his current deal expiring next summer.
With just one year remaining on his current deal, the 33-year-old has cast doubt over whether or not he will sign a new contract at the Nou Camp.
The majestic midfielder became the most decorated player in the history of Spanish football after lifting the Copa del Rey - picking up his 33rd title.
In an injury-hit campaign, Iniesta only made 36 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions and he admits things "haven't been easy".
Iniesta told Onda Cero: "I never said I wasn't going to renew my contract, but rather to evaluate a lot of different things.
"It isn't an economic matter.
"There are several factors that have joined together, personal, the moment of the season, and it hasn't been easy.
"I need to make an honest decision and one that is best for everyone."

Despite there being doubts over him extending his current deal, Iniesta seems determined to see out his current contract.
Speaking to Rac-1, Iniesta said: "My bare minimum intention is to fulfil the contract that I have and that is what I want to do.
"There are always options. It is a question of valuing everything, I am not saying that I will renew or not.
"Given how the season has gone, how everything has changed and how I have learned to value certain things, I said weeks ago that when the time comes for me to leave it will not become a confrontation between me and the club."
