AC Milan step up pursuit of Celtic star Moussa Dembele with second meeting planned following £30m bid
Dembele has been a massive hit in Scotland after snubbing a move to the Premier League last summer and Celtic have a serious fight on their hands to keep their prize asset
AC MILAN have stepped up their interest in Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, according to reports.
The Italian giants are keen to land another striker this summer and have been linked with Real Madrid hitman Alvaro Morata.
The Spanish striker has vowed to stay at Real next season and fight for a regular place in Zinedine Zidane's starting line-up.
With that in mind, Milan are turning on the charm to convince the striker that his future could be in Italy for the next few years.
The claims the Italians are keen to have another meeting with the striker's advisers about a potential switch to Italy.
The 20-year-old has been a huge hit in his first season in Scotland, scoring 32 goals for the SPL champions after opting to move North of the border from Fulham.
Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund are also monitoring the France Under-21 striker, whose stock has risen dramatically in 12 months and is valued at around £30million.
Celtic are standing firm, insisting Dembele will not be sold, as Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers wants to make a real breakthrough in the Champions League next season.
And if a deal fails to materialise this summer, Milan as least want to be kept informed just in case the situation changes.
