Sean Dyche to Crystal Palace: Bookies slash odds of Burnley boss joining the Eagles
Clarets manager linked with succeeding Sam Allardyce in the hotseat at Selhurst Park
SEAN DYCHE is the odds-on favourite to take the Crystal Palace job.
Bookies have slashed the chances of the Burnley boss succeeding Sam Allardyce at Selhurst Park.
A flurry of bets on Dyche in the past couple of hours have seen him drop from 5/4 to 1/9.
A Paddy Power spokesman said: "I wouldn't have thought that Dyche would go to Palace, but our eagle-eyed traders have spotted some extraordinary betting patterns that make it seem likely."
Dyche, who was included in the six-man shortlist for the Premier League manager of the season award, guided the Clarets to 16th last term.
But any talk surrounding him and a transfer has always included Michael Keane.

The Burnley defender is linked strongly with a return to Man United, with Dyche's position at Turf Moor thought to be permanent - until now.
However, since Sam Allardyce's retirement back in May, the Eagles have been looking for a new manager and Dyche appears to fit the mould.
Marco Silva was previously the favourite to land the gig but he agreed to join Watford after leaving relegated Hull.
Former England manager Roy Hodgson has drifted to 8/1 for the Palace gig, while Mauricio Pellegrino is a 5/1 shot.
