The report that United have made an official bid for Morata on Monday - and his representative has suggested the 24-year-old's future could soon be resolved.

Agent Juanma Lopez told Calciomercato: "They are a club of great charm, a very interesting option.

"I can say there's a very important proposal and the decision rests with Real. I cannot tell [if it will be done quickly], we'll see."

And reports in Spain earlier today said that he had been persuaded to move to United by his international team-mates David De Gea and Ander Herrera.

Morata wants his future resolved within the next two weeks while Jose Mourinho wants executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to try and wrap-up transfer business quickly.

Lopez informed Madrid that his client wanted to leave last week due to his limited playing time.

Despite his lack of action, he still managed to net 20 times as his side claimed a La Liga and Champions League double.
