Chelsea transfer news: Antonio Conte set to demand funds for Alex Sandro, Romelu Lukaku and Tiemoue Bakayoko before signing a new contract at the club
Blues hoping to tie Italian, who won the Premier League in his debut season, to long-term deal amid interest from Inter Milan
CHELSEA boss Antonio Conte set to demand funds for star trio Alex Sandro, Romelu Lukaku and Tiemoue Bakayoko before signing a new contract.
The Italian boss, 47, is in high demand across Europe, with Inter Milan even reportedly set to offer him a TEN-YEAR deal worth £106million.
After winning the Premier League in his debut season in England, the Blues aren't keen to see Conte leave any time soon.
Now the Stamford Bridge boss wants to create a dynasty and is set to demand funds to sign a host of European stars before he commits his future to the club.
Amongst the big names, Conte is hoping to conclude the drawn-out deal for Everton striker Lukaku.
The Belgian forward recently claimed he had signed a deal at an unnamed club, with Chelsea thought to be his new home.
Meanwhile, Conte is also hoping to land £70m-rated Juventus left-back Alex Sandro - potentially to join Juve right-back Dani Alves.
With the forward and full-back ranks bolstered, the Chelsea boss is also keen to sign Monaco central midfielder Bakayoko to add some more steel to his team's spine.
Conte has two years remaining on a £6.5m-a-year contract, but could see his salary boosted by £3m if he pens a new deal.
The Italian's adviser Federico Pastorello is in regular contact with the Blues in a bid to sort out a deal before pre-season kicks-off.
Conte is set to lose Diego Costa this summer, after incredibly telling him he was no longer needed in west London.
Elsewhere, Chelsea are edging closer to signing Manchester City outcast Willy Caballero, after losing Asmir Begovic to Bournemouth.
