Ronald Koeman set to secure deal to bring the La Liga starlet to Goodison Park

The 21-year-old scored 14 goals in La Liga last season following his move from Barcelona twelve months ago.

Ramirez is currently on international duty at the European Championship.

However, he has already passed a medical with the Toffees.

The hotshot travelled to Merseyside prior to the tournament and passed it with flying colours.

And having already agreed personal terms, Everton have now moved to seal the deal.

After haggling over the fee, they have now agreed to match the figure in his release clause to land the starlet.

The move is the latest step in Koeman's summer recruitment drive.

Everton have already splashed out £30m to Sunderland to make England U21 stopper Jordan Pickford the most expensive goalkeeper in Britain.

They followed that up with the £23.6m capture of Ajax captain Davy Klaassen last week.

Koeman is now expected to to press ahead with securing his other top two targets.

He still wants to bring Burnley's Michael Keane to Goodison Park.

And the Dutchman remains keen on Swansea City attacker Gylfi Sigurdsson.
