Chelsea ‘agree personal terms’ with Monaco ace Tiemoue Bakayoko as £35m transfer edges nearer
Blues move fast after Nemanja Matic reportedly agreed terms with Manchester United just a matter of days ago
TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO has agreed to sign for Chelsea on a four-year deal, according to reports.
have said the 22-year-old has agreed a four-year deal at Stamford Bridge in a deal which will cost the Premier League champions £35million.
This agreement comes just days after Nemanja Matic reportedly agreed terms with Manchester United as he is set to reunite with Jose Mourinho.
Now that both clubs have agreed a fee and personal terms have been settled, it has been rumoured Bakayoko will have his medical next week.
It is believed Bakayoko chose to join Chelsea over Man Utd due to the fact he prefers Antonio Conte over Mourinho.
It is expected that the defensive midfielder will team up with his fellow countryman N'Golo Kante in the heart of Chelsea's midfield.

- Bakayoko, 22, was born in Paris on August 17 1994.
- He started played for Parisien side Paris 15eme O when he was just five
- Four years later, aged nine, he moved to another local team CA Paris Charenton and then on the Montrogue FC 92.
- He moved to Rennes in 2008 to join their academy when he was just 13.
- Bakayoko made 24 appearances for Rennes in midfield before being sold to Monaco in 2014 for £7million.
- He has played 92 games for Monaco in three seasons giving him 120 first-team appearances in total.
- Bakayoko earned his first France cap in March after coming on for Adrien Rabiot during a 2-0 defeat to Spain.
- He was the man who knocked Manchester City out of the Champions League with his header making it 6-6 on aggregate.
- He has been described as a less flashy, more defensive version of Paul Pogba.
Bakayoko played a key role in Monaco's title-winning season and will now look to help Chelsea defend their Premier League crown next term.
He arrived at Monaco in 2014 from Rennes and has developed into one of Europe's most wanted midfielders.
His strong performances were rewarded when he made his debut for France back in March against Spain.
Last season he made 46 appearances for Monaco and played in crucial Champions League games against the likes of Juventus and Manchester City.
The Blues have also been beaten Manchester United to 16-year-old Ajax wonderkid Daishawn Redan.
While Chelsea target Alex Sandro will have to try and force through a move at Juventus if he wants a switch to Stamford Bridge.
