Alex Sandro to Chelsea deal not agreed as picture showing Juventus star giving thumbs up with blue background is FAKE
Picture doing the rounds on social media seemed to show club-record deal had been agreed but the truth will shock you
AN image of Juventus star Alex Sandro allegedly agreeing a move to Chelsea is fake.
A picture doing the rounds on social media shows the Brazilian giving a thumbs up with a Blues-themed backdrop.
Many Chelsea fans believe this indicates a club-record deal has been completed by Antonio Conte.
But SunSport can reveal that the picture is the same one which was used by Juventus to announce Sandro’s signing back in 2015.
Chelsea are yet to strike a deal with the Italians – but that doesn’t mean the move isn’t happening.
In fact, some reports claim Sandro could be a Chelsea player by the end of the week.
The left-back is expected to fetch at least £60million, making him the most expensive defender in football history.
Chelsea are also closing in on a deal to sign Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko for around £35m.
But a move for Romelu Lukaku is still some way off, with the Blues and Everton yet to agree a transfer fee.
