Laurent Koscielny an AC Milan target as Italian giants join Man City and Marseille in race for Arsenal captain
Marseille have made the Gunners skipper their No 1 target this summer, with City and the Rossoneri also showing an interest
AC MILAN are reportedly the latest club to show an interest in Laurent Koscielny.
As revealed by SunSport, Marseille have made the Arsenal skipper their No 1 target this summer.
And after claimed that Manchester City had begun sniffing around Koscielny, the French TV show now claim that the Rossoneri have joined the race.
All three clubs are said to have sounded out the 31-year-old’s interest.
Although Arsenal will be determined to hold onto a player who has been by far their most solid defender in recent seasons.
Marseille plan to test the Gunners' resolve to keep hold of one of their key men after missing out on the Champions League.
And Milan are also keen, as boss Vincenzo Montella looks to strengthen his backline in his quest to improve upon their sixth-place Serie A finish last season.
Koscielny’s Emirates contract still has three years to run so it would take a mega-bid of £30million-plus for the Gunners to even consider selling.
But that will also test Koscielny’s desire to stay at the club he joined from Lorient in 2010.
He has worn the captain’s armband while skipper Per Mertesacker has been out injured this season.
But he missed the FA Cup final after his red card against Everton on the final day of the Premier League campaign.
