SHEAR we go again! Alan Shearer proves he who bares wins as he went topless to recreate the greatest goal of his glorious career - some 15 years on.
The Newcastle legend's proud son Will tweeted an 11-second video of the former England striker swivelling to volley a ball across a garden and over a swimming pool into a round net.
Most Magpies' fans will instantly recall Shearer's original effort - a stupendous long-ranger against Everton in 2002.
Shearer himself, now 46, rated that as his best ever strike.
He also claimed that if he had attempted such a volley from the same distance 500 times, the ball would have ended up in the terraces on the other 499 occasions.
This time he wore just beach-type shorts to reprise one of the most spectacular moments in Premier League history.
Observers can be heard laughing and whooping with delight as the ball arrows into a net next to the pool.
And Shearer, who has gone from poacher to pundit and SunSport columnist since retiring as a player in 2006, jigs away with both arms raised in celebration.
Hopefully now England stars will take his advice on how to score from the spot!
Meanwhile, his son clearly never tires of his father's timeless talents.
Two years ago Will posted a video of the ex-Southampton and Blackburn targetman displaying his deadball expertise - clipping a ball into what seems like the same garden goal.
