MANCHESTER UNITED have snapped up former Chelsea whizkid Di'Shon Bernard.
The 16-year-old agreed to join United back in April but was only able to sign a deal after the transfer window opened on Saturday.
French defender Bernard is vowing to prove the Blues were fools to let him go.
On Saturday he tweeted: "My new chapter begins..." with a picture of a football and thought balloon.
Bernard also promptly retweeted United fan and Danish Premier League journalist Alexander Falk, who wrote: "Chelsea will regret big time!"
United's Under-18 coach Kieran McKenna will have Bernard and nine other promising youngsters in his ranks after the club confirmed their academy intake for next season.
McKenna is due to take his squad to Austria this weekend for a pre-season training camp.
Charlton youth Largie Ramazani is believed to have signed a four-year contract at United, though the club are yet to confirm.

Ethan Galbraith joins from Northern Ireland and Dylan Levitt is an U17 Wales international.
Keeper Jacob Carney joins as an academy student.
Chelsea, meanwhile, will be pleased with their own work scouting the youth system.
The Blues managed to lure Dutch prodigy and United target Daishawn Redan to Stamford Bridge from Ajax in June.
Local lads D'Mhani Bughail-Mellor and Brandon Williams are among the group, while James Garnder, Ethan Laird, Dion McGhee and James Thompson are all homegrown.
