NATHANIEL CHALOBAH is in talks with Watford over permanent move from Chelsea.
The 22-year-old midfielder has reportedly opted to move following talks with Antonio Conte.
England Under-21 international Chalobah spoke to the Blues boss about his first-team chances this season.
And although the Italian rates him highly, claim he was unable to give him any guarantees over game time.
That alerted Watford to make their approach, and with only one year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge, the ace is set to return to Vicarage Road following a successful loan spell there in 2012/13.
England boss Gareth Southgate has high hopes for Chalobah and believes with match action in the Premier League he could force his way into the senior set-up.
Now he is on the verge of £5million switch to the Hornets, with add-ons depending on appearances and potential international honours.
Chalobah has made it clear that the move is not money-related and solely down to playing time.
