Red Devils beat Chelsea to the Belgium international's signature as the two pals are set to play at Old Trafford together next season
PAUL POGBA has taken to social media to celebrate Romelu Lukaku's imminent £75million move to Manchester United.
The Frenchman welcomed the forward to Old Trafford in a luxury pad in Los Angeles which is where the pair have enjoyed their summer holiday together.
In the post on social media, Pogba also branded himself #AgentP following Lukaku's transfer from Everton.
The world's most expensive midfielder wrote: "See you tomorrow in training @rlukaku9 #bienvenue #AgentP🕵🏽"
In the clip Pogba is laying on a sun lounger in a pair of Yeezy trainers, before Lukaku walks over in a white top to shake his new teammate's hand.
The pair then do a synchronised handshake before Pogba dances out of shot.
Pogba: “It is done?”
Lukaku: “See you tomorrow at training.”
Pogba: “See you when?”
Lukaku: “Tomorrow, at training.”
Pogba: “What did you say?”
Lukaku: “Tomorrow, at training. I’ll see you tomorrow, at training.”
Pogba: “It’s done!”
Lukaku: “The wait is over!”
Chelsea were also in to re-sign the player but their hopes of bringing the player back to Stamford Bridge were crushed when Man Utd announced they had agreed a fee with Everton.
The Red Devils released a statement which read: “Manchester United is delighted to announce that it has agreed a fee with Everton for the transfer of Romelu Lukaku. The transfer is subject to a medical and personal terms.
“A further announcement will be made in due course.”
Chelsea sold Lukaku for £28m in 2014 and reportedly matched United's deal.
But now the Blues will pursue Alvaro Morata as Antonio Conte is seeking a new striker to boost his title-winning side.
Diego Costa is also set for showdown talks with the Blues as his future hangs in the balance.
