Liverpool still believe they will get £30million for Mamadou Sakho after receiving a ‘flood of inquiries’ for French defender

Crystal Palace have been priced out of a move since successful loan spell as Jurgen Klopp refuses to budge on fee

MAMADOU SAKHO has a number of admirers – despite Liverpool pricing Crystal Palace out of a deal.

The defender spent the second half of last season on loan at Selhurst Park and the Eagles want to seal a permanent switch.

But the Reds’ £30million price-tag has proved a stumbling block with new boss Frank De Boer reportedly unwilling to spend such a fee on just one player.

Palace remain favourites to land Sakho, 27, and have reportedly already agreed personal terms with the former Paris Saint-Germain ace.

Sakho was banished to train with the academy last season after falling on the wrong side of Klopp while on Liverpool’s pre-season tour of the US last summer.

He returned to training with the Reds this week – but his chances of pulling on a Reds shirt again are thought to be extremely slim .
