JOSE MOURINHO keeps framed pictures of himself lifting the Europa League trophy in his office.

Mourinho's wife, Matilde, shared a snap revealing what her husband's study looks like.

Beneath his three canvases is a whiteboard set up for tactical analysis and a number of books and DVDs.

Matilde captioned her post: "Back to work #newseason"

Mourinho, 54, and his United squad have linked up again ahead of their pre-season tour in Los Angeles.

The Portuguese coach will take his men to play LA Galaxy on July 16, before big clashes against Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

United's pre-season finishes on August 2 with a game against Sampdoria in Dublin.

While the players are only just getting back into the swing of things, the Red Devils top brass have been busy recruiting since last season finished.

United snapped up Sweden centre-back Victor Lindelof from Benfica in a £31million move last month.

A £75m fee has also been agreed to sign Everton hotshot Romelu Lukaku.

United captain and record goal-scorer Wayne Rooney arrived at the Toffees' Finch Park training ground for a medical today.

The 31-year-old is expected to be announced as an Everton player shortly, completing a sensational return to the club he started at.
