TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO made his way to London on Thursday to complete his £40million switch to Chelsea.
The midfielder took the Eurostar from Paris to the capital ahead of his medical at the club on Friday.
The 22-year-old kept his eagle-eyed followers up-to-date of his movements as he revealed a Instagram story with a snap of Shortlist magazine which is only sold in England and Scotland.
And it appears he is already scrubbing up on his English ahead of his deal after uploading a video to his Instagram called 'TB14 Coming soon.'
In the short montage it shows a snippet of an English book for beginners suggesting he is preparing for life at the Premier League champions.
Shortly after Bakayoko was back on the social media site uploading a picture of him posing next to a young Chelsea fan with the caption: "Yesterday is today's memory, and tomorrow is today's dream."
An official announcement of the deal could be announced after the player completes his medical.
The Blues had been holding off a deal because Bakayoko has been struggling with a knee injury.
Chelsea transfer news
He had to undergo keyhole surgery at the end of last season but Chelsea feel it won't be a long-term issue.
Bakayoko is expected to travel with the squad on their pre-season tour of the Far East but isn't expected to play any matches.
Chelsea believe he will be fully fit after the international break meaning he could miss games against Burnley, Spurs and Everton.
The signing of Bakayoko could free up Manchester United's move for Nemanja Matic.
