TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO watched from the stands as Premier League champions Chelsea demolished Fulham 8-2 in their first match of the pre-season.

And the £40million signing from Monaco looked delighted as a star-studded team including N’Golo Kante, David Luiz and fellow new boy Willy Caballero ran riot against their west London rivals at Cobham this evening.

Exiled star Willian got things underway with a quick-fire opener before doubling the lead two minutes later.

Cesar Azpilicueta allowed Fulham to get back into the match with an unfortunate own-goal before the Cottagers hit the post.

But Michy Batshuayi got the ball rolling again with a fine effort before scoring a second soon after.

Willian completed his hat-trick before the half-time whistle was even blown, putting Chelsea 5-1 up and allowing Antonio Conte to make ten changes.

Stefan Johansen pulled back a consolation goal for Fulham from the penalty spot soon into the second 45.

But Loic Remy restored Chelsea’s four-goal lead by firing into an unmanned net moments later.

Azpilicueta eventually made up for his own-goal by finding the back of the Fulham net with 15 minutes remaining.

And Remy made sure it was a whitewash when he scored Chelsea’s eighth of the match with a late spotkick.

The next game comes against Arsenal in a week's time, and the Blues are sure to be feeling confident about their chances following this performance - especially following the addition of Bakayoko.
