PEP GUARDIOLA’S move for Dani Alves was dashed by the player’s new MISSUS.
The Manchester City boss lined up full-back Alves, 34, as a big-name signing but lost out to Paris Saint-Germain.
Alves’ wife Joana Sanz, who he married this month in Ibiza, is understood to have played a big part in his decision.
The Spanish model, 23, favoured living in the French capital.
Alves will pick up a whopping £230,000-a-week at PSG after they put a bigger deal on the table compared to City.
Guardiola hoped to be reunited with the Brazilian after their glory days at Barcelona.
The Spaniard left the Nou Camp to boss Bayern and then City, while Alves left Barca to spend last season with Juventus.
