Rolan remains a target for numerous Premier League clubs including Newcastle.

But Fulham are the only side to offer a contract, and officials are confident they can convince him to join them in the Championship next season.

Rolan has spent the last five seasons with Bordeaux, scoring 39 goals in 149 appearances.

And the Cottagers will now be hoping he opts to sign for them during what’s already been a busy transfer window.

Fan favourite Scott Parker retired at the end of the season before joining Tottenham as a coach.

While highly-rated youngster Ryan Sessegnon ended up signing his first-ever professional contract at the club.
