TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO enjoyed a warm welcome to Chelsea on Monday as he met his new teammates for first time.
The 22-year-old was at Cobham this morning to finally join up with his colleagues ahead of the upcoming season.
The Premier League champions confirmed his £40million signing from Monaco at the weekend.
He wasted no time in watching his new club in action.
Bakayoko was all smiles as he witnessed the Blues thump Fulham 8-2 in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
And the fun continued at the club’s training base as he finally got the chance to get up close and personal with Antonio Conte’s squad.
The French midfielder was unable to take part in the session as he continues to recover from keyhole surgery after the end of last season.
But that setback did not stop him from introducing himself to a number of Conte’s squad as they enjoyed a session in the Surrey sunshine.

Bakayoko appeared to be having the time of his life as he made his way around the pitches at the Chelsea HQ, grinning from ear-to-ear as he dished out the handshakes.
He was one of Conte’s top transfer targets this summer and the Italian will be delighted to have finally landed his man.
The France international became Chelsea’s third signing of the window.
He followed centre-back Antonio Rudiger’s arrival from Roma in a £35m switch and goalkeeper Willy Caballero from Manchester City.
It did look touch-and-go for the Blues at one stage when Manchester United reportedly joined the race for Bakayoko’s signature.
And he did no favours by mischievously trolling supporters on his official Twitter account.
However, the 22-year-old is now officially a Blues star and all parties are delighted with the deal.
