AARON LENNON continued his scoring return to football following his stress-related illness after netting in Everton's 3-0 pre-season win over FC Twente.
The former England winger scored his side's second after coming off the bench as Kevin Mirallas and Kieran Dowell got the others.
He capitalised on some poor defending from the Dutch side and cut in from the left to fire the ball into the bottom right-hand corner on 72min.
Lennon, 30, was then congratulated by delighted team-mates as he impressed manager Ronald Koeman in Holland.
The winger missed the end of last season after being sectioned.
He was treated psychological problems after being picked up by police in April - but he tweeted his delight at re-joining the club's pre-season training.
It is only eight days till Everton play the first leg of their Europa League qualifier against either Ruzomberok of Solvakia or SK Brann of Norway on July 27 and Koeman wants his players a well oiled machine by then.
Mirallas got Everton off to a flying start with a superb thunderbolt from the edge of the box after cutting inside.

The Belgian cut inside from the left and fired thumper into the top right-hand corner.
And not to be outdone Dowell got in on the act after showing some neat footwork on the right as he cut inside and unleashed a smart piledriver again into the bottom corner.
Lennon tweeted: "Good win from the lads tonight, happy to get on the scoresheet and some more minutes under by belt #PreSeason #Toffees."
Boss Ronald Koeman wrote: "Second successive pre-season victory today against FC Twente. Great to see Aaron Lennon scoring his first goal of the season!"
New boy Michael Keane made his first start for Everton and his header helped start the move for the club's first goal.
He said: "It was a good result and a good performance from the lads in both halves.
"Obviously, the most important thing is fitness and to come through it without any injuries, which we have done, but it's always good to win as well.
"I feel like I've settled nicely now, I feel comfortable around the lads and I just can't wait for the games to begin."
