NEW Manchester United centre-back Victor Lindelof showed it's not just football where he has an impressive defence.
The 23-year-old took on his new Red Devils team-mate Paul Pogba in a game of table tennis, triumphing over the eccentric Frenchman.
Lindelof, a £31million summer signing from Benfica, was returning the 24-year-old's smashes with ease, much to the frustration of the former Juventus star.
In a video uploaded to Pogba's Instagram account, the clip shows four points being played out, Lindelof winning two, Pogba triumphing once and one point left undetermined.
Never the aggressor, the Swedish international was more than happy to sit back deep, and allow the United midfielder to be forced into making the mistakes.
After missing the table with a forehand smash, Pogba turned to the camera brandishing a wagging tongue - it's not the first time he's failed to hit the target this year.
Jose Mourinho will be certainly hoping Lindelof can display as equally impressive defensive skills on the football pitch.
He is in line to face rivals Manchester City on Friday in Houston, Texas, in the opening game of their International Champions Cup campaign.
United will be cheered on by the Houston Texans cheerleaders after they declared their love for the club with a cringey chant.
Fans will be able to watch the clash against the Citizens live only on MUTV - much to the dismay of angry City supporters.
He has already donned the famous red jersey of United, when he impressed in the 5-2 rout against MLS side LA Galaxy.
