Chelsea newboy Tiemoue Bakayoko welcomes Alvaro Morata as ex-Real Madrid star jets out to Singapore to meet Chelsea team-mates

Bakayoko posted a selfie with Chelsea's latest arrival after the pair met at the clubs training base

TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO was on hand to welcome the striker to London.

Morata jetted in to the capital after leaving Real Madrid's pre-season tour of the US.

He arrived at Heathrow on Thursday  and went straight to Cobham to finalise personal terms on his contract and undergo a medical.

With the rest of his new teammates in the Far East the Blues most recent signing was there for the meet and greet.

He posted a snap with his new teammate on his Instagram story with the caption 'Welcome.'

Bakayoko has remained in London to settle in to his new home and focus rehabbing a minor knee injury.

The defensive midfielder signed with the Premier League champions on Saturday in a £40 million deal from Monaco.

Morata is expected to fly out to Singapore to meet the rest of his new team when his £65 million transfer deal from Madrid is sealed.

Chelsea will be flying south from Beijing to Singapore after facing London rivals Arsenal on Saturday.

The new star forward should be on hand for the Blues' mini tournament with Bayern Munich and Inter Milan next week.
