PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN will invest a stunning £352million to land Barcelona superstar Neymar.
The French club are on the verge of snapping up the Brazilian forward in a world record deal that breaks new ground in football transfers.
Despite Barcelona's best attempts to convince the 25-year-old to stay at the Nou Camp, Neymar is inching closer to making the move to Paris.
The Spanish giants to make the controversial switch from Barcelona to the French capital.
If they do pull off the biggest deal in the game's history they will first have to stump up the £196m release clause in his Barca contract.
Then they have to find a further £156m to cover the wages they have put on the table over the course of the player's proposed six-year deal.
That means Neymar will be paid just over £500,000-a-week - £26m-a-year - to swap La Liga for the less heralded Ligue 1.
It is a huge investment for any club to make - one that raises question over how it could fit in with Uefa's Financial Fair Play regulations.

PSG are currently looking at ways they can package the whole transfer in order not to fall foul of the rules.
One avenue being explored is for Neymar's release clause to be linked with a separate personal sponsorship deal between the player and the Oryx Qatar Sports Investment fund.
The group is also the owning body of PSG, but crucially are registered separately as a business.
That means they could enter into their own individual deal with the player to meet his release clause, as part of a huge sponsorship deal based on his global reach as one of the biggest stars in world sport.
If that is sanctioned by the Uefa Club Financial Control Committee, it would mean the £196m release clause would not be seen on the books of PSG as a business.
Only the £156m commitment of wages would be taken into account, a figure that would easily allow the club to meet FFP regulations.
Publicly, Barcelona officials were maintaining a stance Neymar was not for sale and would not be leaving.
Only a week ago, coach Ernesto Valverde said: "There is no way that Barcelona will allow Neymar to go.
"We know how he is involved in games, the dressing room, the mood and we want him with us."
But privately, the club always feared they were losing the fight to persuade the player and his advisers to remain at the Nou Camp.
Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo has also weighed in on the saga, amid claims he has told his fellow Nike client not to join PSG.
But it is understood Neymar is now almost certain to force through the move that will change the face of football transfers.
