Gerard Pique unsure whether Neymar will stay at Barcelona… and urges his close pal to aim for trophies over money
Spanish centre-back has told his wantaway Brazilian team-mate to weigh up his options and decide where his priorities lie
GERARD PIQUE has revealed he is unsure whether Neymar will stay at Barcelona... but has urged his pal to aim for trophies over money.
The Spanish centre-back has bluntly told his Brazilian team-mate to weigh up his options and decide where his priorities lie.
Neymar is at the centre of an incredible £195million move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer - but Pique would be reluctant to leave if he were in the forward's shoes.
Pique said: "Neymar and I we are very close and I want him to stay and I know the situation.
"Right now he doesn't know what to do and we are trying to help him, the ones [on the team] that are more close to him to take the right decision.
"We will see. The tweet was about pushing him to stay. I want him to stay and we will see what happens.
"It depends on what he wants. He can be in all the clubs in all the world.
"He can be in Paris, Barcelona, Chelsea or City. All the clubs will want him. It's about your priorities.
