The centre-half was involved in an investigation after he was substituted in the 26th minute of his final game for Chelsea
JOHN TERRY has the green light to make his Aston Villa debut on Saturday after FA chiefs cleared him of spot-fixing.
Bookies were forced to pay out after punters weighed in on Terry — who wore No 26 for the Blues — being taken off in that farewell game against Sunderland.
Despite an FA probe into his conduct, Terry was formally cleared yesterday and will make his Villa debut against Hull in the Championship.
Villa have had to put sales of Terry replica shirts on hold as the club shop has run out of the letter ‘R’.
Almost 80 per cent of shirt sales had Terry on the back.
Villa have say they will be fully restocked by the end of the week - that and fans be able to get the normal printing service.
Some fans lost patience and tweeted owner Tony Xia with their complaints.

It is thought the club the club shop was not prepared for such a high amount of sales following Terry’s signing.
The club have now had to order more letters ahead of the start of the season in five days’ time.
Last Saturday, the club shop recorded its biggest day of trading for more than five years.
A similar problem happened at Manchester United when Angel Di Maria was signed in 2014 with and wanting his surname on their shirt.
