Manchester United and Everton given two-week deadline to sign Anderlecht star Leander Dendoncker
Anderlecht defensive midfielder also targeted by PSG and RB Leipzig at centre of transfer ultimatum
MANCHESTER UNITED and Everton have been given a two-week deadline in which to sign Leander Dendoncker, according to reports.
Rival bosses Jose Mourinho and Ronald Koeman have shown strong interest in the 22-year-old Anderlecht midfielder, who inspired his club to the league title in May.
Anderlecht rate the powerful ball-winner at between £25million - £30m, with United having already made an enquiry.
Dendoncker - who is also being looked at by Paris Saint-Germain - scored in their Europa League quarter-final against United in April.
The Brussels club now want to know soon whether they can count on him being around for their Champions League quest, which is due to begin in mid September.
And chief executive Herman van Holsbeeck warned any possible buyers to put up or shut up long before the transfer window closes.
Van Holsbeeck said: "One thing that is certain is that we will no longer let Leander go once we reach the final days of the transfer window.
"We will do everything we can to get him to stay with us for another year."

Anderlecht plan to extend Dendoncker's contract by a year to 2022, and make him their best-paid player.
The midfielder has previously voiced his eagerness to play in the Premier League.
But he hopes to go to next summer's World Cup finals in Russia, and fears a lack of regular first-team football will cost him a place in coach Roberto Martinez's Belgium squad.
