The Belgian 22-year-old is being chased by Jose Mourinho, with the Red Devils already making an enquiry for his services
LEANDER DENDONCKER'S agent has claimed he is ready for a new challenge as he seeks a move away from Anderlecht with Manchester United interested.
The Red Devils have already made an enquiry for his services, though Jose Mourinho is looking at bringing him in next summer.
United have already acquired the services of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea in a £40million deal, but remain keen on bringing the 22-year-old midfielder in.
He impressed for Anderlecht in the Europa League quarter-final against Mourinho's men, where he netted in the first leg and controlled the midfield.
And it appears he already has eyes on a move away from Belgium after helping his side claim the league title back in May.
His agent Christophe Henrotay recently told : "Anderlecht want to keep him but the kid wants a new challenge.
"We’ll see if we can find an agreement with the club, but that seems difficult."
He appeared a whopping 56 times last campaign for Rene Weiler's men, as he netted six times in all competitions.

His performances saw Roberto Martinez select him in six out of ten matchday squads for the Belgian national side.
An impressive achievement considering they boast Radja Nainggolan, Mousa Dembele, Youri Tielemans, Kevin De Bruyne and Marouane Fellaini in midfield.
Anderlecht club chief Herman van Holsbeek recently they would have a problem if a club matched their evaluation of the player.
He said: “We want to cherish him, but if a club is willing to pay between €25m and €35m, we have a problem.
“Against Man United [in the Europa League] he has shown twice that he has the potential to play at a top European club.”
He added: "One thing that is certain is that we will no longer let Leander go once we reach the final days of the transfer window.
“We will do everything we can to get him to stay with us for another year."
United could lose out on Dendoncker to Paris Saint-Germain, while Everton have also joined the race to sign him.
