ARSENAL are still "locked in talks" to sign £50million-rated Thomas Lemar from Monaco.
According to reports, the Frenchman is still firmly in Arsene Wenger's sights.
are reporting the Gunners are still keen on bringing in the Monaco winger, with the futures of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all uncertain.
The 21-year-old played in Monaco's 3-2 win over Toulouse in their Ligue 1 opener on Friday.
Lemar scored 12 times for his club last season and has impressed so much he was called up to Didier Deschamps' France squad as they lost to Sweden before beating England.
But Wenger, who has a decades-long track record of bringing French stars to Arsenal, is keen on this latest talent from his home country.
The Gunners signed Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon for a sum that could reach £52million.
