Alexis Sanchez transfer – PSG to offer Arsenal £80million for Chile ace… but player is desperate to rejoin Pep Guardiola at Man City
The Gunners could face losing their star man for nothing next summer as the Chilean enters the final year of his contract.
ALEXIS SANCHEZ is desperate to link up with his former boss Pep Guardiola, according to reports.
The Arsenal striker has been linked with a big money move away from the North London club all summer, but there haven't been any firm bids yet.
However, the reports that Paris Saint-Germain, who have only just shelled out £198million for Neymar from Barcelona, are preparing an £80m bid.
That could tempt Arsenal, as the Chilean has only one year on his contract and could leave for free next summer.
But Sanchez's preference is for a move to Manchester City, and the opportunity to play under former boss Pep Guardiola.
The two worked together during their Barcelona days.
But PSG are confident they could put together a financial package that could persuade Sanchez - with wages of up to £400,000 a week.
That's much more than the current offer Arsenal have on the table of £250,000 a week.

The Independent reports that Sanchez is close to accepting he will have to stick it out at Arsenal for another season, where he would then be able to move to his first choice, Manchester City, on a free.
Pep Guardiola is likely to plan ahead for the opportunity to get Sanchez into his 2018/19 team for that Premier League season.
Sanchez re-joined his Gunners team-mates last week after an extended break following the Confederations Cup.
He was on the sidelines as Arsenal beat Chelsea on penalties at Wembley, with Thibaut Courtois and Alvaro Morata missing spot kicks for the Blues.
