Neymar ready to report Barcelona to Fifa over unpaid £23million bonus after world-record PSG move
Brazilian superstar ready to go to football's governing body in order to get the money he feels is owed by the La Liga giants as part of last year's contract renewal.
NEYMAR is ready to report Barcelona to Fifa over the £23million bonus they are refusing to pay him.
The Brazilian superstar claims he is owed the money as part of the contract renewal he signed last year with the Catalans.
And despite his world-record £198m move to Paris Saint-Germain from Barca last week, insist that the 25-year-old and his father are adamant they are due still to receive it.
But the La Liga giants believe that the agreement was broken when he left the club last week.
They have refused to budge on their stance, and that means Neymar is preparing to go to world football's governing body to get the matter sorted.
Barcelona spokesman Josep Vives explained their reasoning.
He said: "There were three conditions: one, that the player didn’t negotiate with another club before Jul. 31; two, that he publicly expressed his decision to fulfil his contract; and three, the payment was to be made on Sept. 1, to ensure he didn’t go to another club.
"With this criteria not me, the club will not pay the renewal bonus.
