BORUSSIA DORTMUND have sensationally revealed that Barcelona target Ousmane Dembele missed training this morning and is currently AWOL.
Manager Peter Bosz told reporters that the Frenchman skipped the session without informing any body at the club.
And Dembele, who is reported to have struck a deal with Barcelona, is keeping his manager in the dark by refusing to answer his mobile phone.
A stunned Bosz explained: "Dembele was not at work today. We've tried to reach him and we hope nothing bad has happened."
Barcelona have made no secret of their desire to land a replacement for Brazilian superstar Neymar, who joined PSG in a world-record deal last week.
New manager Ernesto Valverde now has an extra £200million at his disposal and is targeting Dembele alongside Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho.
Dortmund are reluctant to sell the versatile attacker just one year after he moved to Germany.
And club chiefs are believed to have told Barca they must stump up an incredible £135m for his signature.
Barcelona transfer news
Dembele isn't the only young Dortmund whizz seemingly on the move, with Emre Mor closing in on a switch to Inter Milan.
The Turkey international has been tipped for the top but now looks set to continue his development at the San Siro instead.
There could be further problems for Dortmund before the window shuts too, with AC Milan still interested in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Dortmund insist the striker will stay put but may find it hard to turn down a seven-figure bid should one arrive from the cash-laden, Chinese-owned club.
