Kylian Mbappe’s mind made up about Paris Saint-Germain as Monaco striker wants to play with Neymar
French forward is set for £160million move to the Parc des Princes after wanting to create a £360m-strike partnership with Brazilian
KYLIAN MBAPPE decided to join Paris Saint-Germain as he wants to link up with Neymar, according to reports.
PSG landed the French wonderkid on loan with the view to a £160million transfer in order to comply with FFP regulations.
And reported that Mbappe decided to snub Real Madrid for PSG because he wanted to form a super strike-force with £198m Neymar.
PSG are now hoping their £360m front line can help them dominate Ligue 1 and the Champions League.
Spanish giants Real were favourites to land Mbappe but his financial demands saw the Champions League winners walk away from a deal.
Monaco had been insistent they wanted to hold on to the teenager despite the interest from Madrid.
But Mbappe’s father convinced Monaco to let the youngster leave this summer instead of hanging on for another 12 months.
That gave PSG the green light to begin negotiations over a mega-deal for the striker, with an agreement reached swiftly once they were happy to match Madrid’s offer.
