Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City were all linked with moves for the magical little playmaker but he’s convinced Real boss Zinedine Zidane to stick with him.

While Manchester United target Gareth Bale was injured last season, the left-footed ace stepped up to help Madrid secure the La Liga and Champions League double.

Isco will pocket around £105,000-a-week, according to Spanish paper AS.

After the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup final on Wednesday , Madrid are expected to reveal the huge new deal.

There was little speculation around Isco this summer and reports in Spain claim he penned his monster new terms before they went on their pre-season tour of America on July 10.

However the club and Isco agreed to keep the news quiet and save the announcement for a late boost just days before the La Liga season starts.

Most of Madrid’s top talents have bank-busting buyout clauses but young academy product Marcos Asensio is apparently one who has slipped through the net.

The promising playmaker has appeared on Barcelona’s radar due to his bargain–basement contract caveat of just £72million.

Barca would be able to offer the Spanish international regular game time with Isco, Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lucas Vasquez all ahead of him in the pecking order at the Bernabeu.

Speaking back in April when he was linked with a move to Manchester United, Asensio said: “In the end I do not think about other teams or if I could play in other teams, I always think about Madrid.

“I found it difficult at first, but you have to work in the training sessions and be prepared to take advantage of the opportunity when it comes.

“I already said that I wanted to stay and that I was going to fight for minutes.”
