BARCELONA have reportedly told Paulo Dybala they won’t be signing him this summer – because he’s “incompatible” with star man Lionel Messi.
It’s no secret that Barca have plenty of cash to spend after selling Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain for a world-record £198million fee.
Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho and Borussia Dortmund winger Ousmane Dembele are two top targets for the Nou Camp hierarchy, with both players the subject of bids in recent days.
Juventus fan favourite Dybala has also been linked with replacing Neymar in Barcelona’s famous front three, with many pointing to his flourishing partnership with Messi in the Argentina national team.
However, Mundo Deportivo via claims Barca have a different point of view and believe the pair cannot work together as they are "incompatible".
Despite having informed Dybala in the past of their interest, they are now no longer keen and have relayed the message directly to the player himself.
Dybala will surely be disappointed to be denied the chance of testing himself at the Nou Camp.
But after recently penning a lucrative deal, Juve’s new No.10 will now look to finally guide his team to Champions League victory after falling short at the final hurdle last season.

Meanwhile, Barca will step up their chase of Coutinho and Dembele, though they may end up spending even more than the cash they received for Neymar.
Liverpool have rejected a bid believed to be worth £90m for Coutinho and insist the ace is not for sale, which means Barca may have to submit a nine-figure bid to secure his signature.
Dembele is also proving equally hard to land, although Dortmund could be more open to doing business after suspending the France international for an unspecified length of time.
