CHELSEA boss Antonio Conte is ready to splash £120million on a trio of signings that he hopes will reignite the Blues' title defence.
Conte wants to land Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Southampton's wantaway defender Virgil van Dijk and Leicester midfielder Danny Drinkwater.
The Blues suffered a stunning 3-2 defeat to Burnley in their opening game of the season.
Conte has been at odds with the Stamford Bridge hierarchy over signings and the club as a whole remain at war with exiled Diego Costa.
But a fresh £35m move for the Gunners Oxlade-Chamberlain could be the boost they need.
Arsenal run the risk of losing the England international for nothing next summer, when he will be in the final year of his contract.
Meanwhile, Van Dijk remains a target for a number of Prem clubs - but is said to be more likely to join join Chelsea or Manchester City than Liverpool.
