KILLIE will be without defender Kirk Broadfoot as the defender saw red midway through the second half after a grapple on the deck with Hearts striker Esmael Goncalves.
Broadfoot yanked Goncalves’ hair, sparking a reaction from the ex-St Mirren fontman.
And both players were given their marching orders.
Kris Boyd had to change shirts after getting blood on his original jersey from a head clash, but the target man continued on and should be fit for the game against Celtic.
Young midfielder Greg Kiltie is still out after suffering a broken ankle in the final game of last season.
And they are still without their captain Steven Smith who is out with a hip injury.
Celtic
BOSS Brendan Rodgers faces an injury crisis at the moment.
Star striker Moussa Dembele has been ruled out until September after suffering a hamstring injury while Dedryck Boyata is also facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The Hoops were rocked with more bad news as Erik Sviatchenko will be ruled out for six weeks, after hobbling off with a knee injury during the 1-0 win against Rosenborg
However, Brendan Rodgers’ men did manage to get through their 1-0 victory over Partick Thistle unscathed.
Griffiths came on as a late sub against the Jags, but is back to full fitness and will likely start at Rugby Park.
There has been calls for midfielder Nir Bitton to be dropped as he almost cost his side all three points at Firhill.
The Israeli definitely got away with one with a clumsy tackle which should have led to a late penalty kick for Partick Thistle.
