DEPORTIVO LA CORUNA are in talks with Atletico Madrid over the possibility of loaning Diego Costa until January, according to local reports in Galicia.
The Spain international has been told he has no future at Chelsea and is keen on a return to his former club, but the Rojiblancos are banned from registering any new players until January.
AC Milan and Besiktas have both enquired about loaning the striker until the end of 2017, and now insist Deportivo have entered the mix.
Costa could sign for Atletico immediately and spend the next six months on the bench — but is unwilling to jeopardise his chances of making Spain’s World Cup squad for next summer.
