Stoke confirm stunning Jese Rodriguez deal… and have a dig at Marko Arnautovic and pundits tipping them for relegation
Mark Hughes' side sealed shock season-long switch for ex-Real star and boasted about his impressive list of achievements
STOKE officially announced their shock deal for Jese Rodriguez... and at the same time took a stunning swipe at Marko Arnautovic and those tipping them for relegation.
The Spaniard has joined the Potters on a season-long loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain.
Former frontman Arnautovic joined West Ham in a £24.5million move worth £130,000-a-week earlier this summer.
But in doing so, the Austrian international slammed his former club in comments to reporters.
He said he joined the Irons because they are a "bigger, more ambitious club" than Mark Hughes' side.
Pundits including Paul Merson also tipped Stoke for relegation, with talkSPORT's Adrian Durham asking "What is the point in Stoke?"
Stoke hit back at Arnautovic when supremo Peter Coates blasted the player following his move - and they did so again today with their cheeky clip.
The club posted a video to their 803,000 followers listing all of Jese's achievements - and they're pretty impressive.
With the word 'Ambition' shown at the start of the clip, the video then reveals a photo of Jese hugging former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo.
Then it lists his former clubs Real Madrid, PSG and Las Palmas.

Oh, and it points out that he's won La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Champions League... twice, along with the Fifa Club World Cup.
And it all ends with Jese giving the camera a smile. Fair to say the Potters won that one - even if they did lose 1-0 to Everton last weekend.
