Kylian Mbappe to cost PSG £182million as Monaco reject £141m plus add-ons offer and demand even more for young ace
Talented teenage striker in the crosshairs of fierce Ligue 1 rivals who have already shelled out record £198m on Neymar
MONACO have reportedly told Paris Saint-Germain to cough up an astonishing £182million for Kylian Mbappe.
claims the striker is wanted by free-spenders PSG on the back of their world-record £198m swoop for Barcelona star Neymar.
It’s said that Unai Emery has already offered £141m plus add-ons for Mbappe, who is widely considered to be the top teenage talent in Europe right now.
But he will have to dig deeper in order to bring the exciting forward to the French capital.
Mbappe is believed to be keen on leaving Monaco for their fierce rivals and was subsequently left on the bench for last weekend’s 4-1 win over Dijon.
However, Leonardo Jardim has gone up a step further by dropping the ace from tonight’s match squad against Metz.
The move indicates that Mbappe is close to completing his staggering switch, which could have far-reaching consequences across the continent.
PSG may have an unlimited pool of money behind them, but FFP rules mean they must now offload a number of players in order to balance the books.
Blaise Matuidi appears to be the biggest casualty, with the France international heading to Italian champions Juventus in a bargain £18m deal.
Anchorman Grzegorz Krychowiak has been linked with Chelsea while right-back Serge Aurier is wanted by Manchester United.
Hatem Ben Arfa is also set to leave and could rejoin Nice, where he enjoyed an explosive renaissance in the 2015/16 season.
But perhaps the biggest shock is that Julian Draxler has been told to leave Paris – despite joining at the start of the year in a £40m move from Wolfsburg.
Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with the German playmaker, who could now be available for a cut-price fee.
