MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly shown "significant interest" in Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon.
But a bid to lure the 17-year-old sensation away from Craven Cottage would likely make him the most expensive English teenage player ever.
United boss Jose Mourinho has the future of his team in mind targeting Sessegnon and, according to , he would be prepared to loan him back to the West London club next season to allow him to continue his education.
But Mourinho will have a tough battle on his hands to pry the youngster away from Fulham and other Premier League suitors.
The Cottagers' owner Shahid Khan is reportedly not prepared to sell his prized-asset, even if a bid of £25million is received.
Sessegnon has already snubbed a handful of Premier League clubs by opting to sign his first professional contract with Fulham after his 17th birthday.
He signed a three-year deal with the Championship side believing the opportunity to play more regular first-team football would benefit him in the long-term.
He has also been heavily targeted by Tottenham for over a year who denied reports they had a £25m bid rejected for the devastating left-back, who has been compared to Ashley Cole.
