Everton are ready to move for Manchester United target Leander Dendoncker as midfielder admits he is ‘waiting to see what happens’
The Belgium midfielder has made it clear he wants a move away from Anderlecht and Everton are the latest Premier League side to join the race for his signature
EVERTON have reportedly set their sights on Anderlecht wantaway midfielder Leander Dendoncker.
But to land the 22-year-old the Toffees will have to fight off strong competition from Manchester United as well as persuading the reluctant Belgium side to sell.

Everton have again been linked as a possible destination, but Dendoncker remained cool and was quoted in the report saying "For the moment, I'm still here. So we'll see if something happens."
Everton boss Ronald Koeman does have a head start in the race for his signature having already done business with the Belgium side this summer.
Koeman signed Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru from KAS Eupen and sent the young prospect immediately on loan to Anderlecht, which could be used Everton's favour if they were to submit a bid.
The departure of midfielder Gareth Barry to West Brom also adds fuel to rumours of the Toffees possible move for Dendoncker.
But still firmly in the running for the highly-rated prospect's services is Manchester United.
